Independent childbirth education teach families to prepare for the birth they desire.

You are capable of making decisions for your labor that are right for your family. Our classes honor the intuition you carry as a parent while also knowing you deserve the evidenced based information to help guide those decisions.

Many hospital courses teach you how to do birth their way - but perhaps not your way. We want you to leave class feeling prepared to meet your baby with real tools to reduce the risk of interventions and unnecessary cesarean birth.

We use Preparing for Birth curriculum. It’s modern childbirth prep that is at the intersection of evidence and intuition.

All families are welcomed in our classes.

Natural Birth Class Online

This the same award winning class, but offered online. It combines podcasts and video - yes, you can take a childbirth class via podcast! Prepare for your birth as meal prep, and listen as often as you like. Partners can prepare together…or prepare together even when not together.

The online format includes:

• Six podcast sessions with dynamic instructors.

• Videos that further illustrate the subjects from the podcasts

• The gorgeous Preparing for Birth journal which inspires positive conversation with partners, and with care providers.

• Prepared Feeding video the on demand breastfeeding class that you will go back to over and over again during your infant feeding journey

Prepared Feeding

Prepared Feeding is included with all online Natural Birth registrations, but it may be purchased separately as stand alone comprehensive breastfeeding prep.

Topics include:

• baby’s first latch

• feeding at the hospital and feeding at home

• what normal milk production really means

• pumping and safe bottle feeding

• troubleshooting common problems

• weaning

• using a pump/going back to work

It’s helpful to watch during your pregnancy and then watch again once you have a feeding baby in your arms. The course is indexed helping you easily find the info that you need.
