Doula Mentorship in GSP
The founer of Great Expectations is also the founder of BEST Doula Training - so if you want to be a doula, our first advice is to take a BEST training! You will get ongoing mentorship and a fantastic, comprehensive training. BEST offers doula training, cross doula training, placenta encapsulation and chidlbirth educator training.

Are you a new doula or doula-in-training who would like some hands on experience?
We’d love to offer you some doula mentorship.
Each doula in our mentorship program receives the opportunity to attend/shadow births with our award winning doulas, as well as access to our classes and other Great Expectations activities. They also receive a one hour career planning session with a member of our leadership team.
This mentorship program is designed for doulas that have already taken a training/certification program but desire more hands on experience. Interested? Fill out our application and we’ll contact you for a phone conversation to see if we’re a good fit. The cost of the mentorship program is $200.
(Participants in the mentorship program cannot use the Great Expectations clients served during shadow births as part of any paperwork toward certification.)
